Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta

- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

- Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

- Drain the pasta and set it aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Cheese Sauce

- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

- Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 1-2 minutes until the mixture turns a light golden color.

- Gradually pour in the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps from forming.

- Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and begins to simmer.

- Reduce the heat to low and add the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.

- Stir until the cheeses have melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.

- Season the sauce with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and mustard powder to taste.
Step 3: Combine Pasta and Sauce

- Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce.

- Stir until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
Step 4: Optional Topping

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and chopped parsley.

- Transfer the mac and cheese to a greased baking dish.

- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top.
