  • Author: Katherine

Ingredients

    • Red Fruits:
        • Strawberries

        • Raspberries

        • Watermelon

    • Orange Fruits:
        • Orange slices

        • Cantaloupe

        • Mango

    • Yellow Fruits:
        • Pineapple

        • Bananas

        • Yellow kiwi

    • Green Fruits:
        • Green grapes

        • Kiwi

        • Honeydew melon

    • Blue Fruits:
        • Blueberries

    • Purple Fruits:
        • Red grapes

        • Blackberries

Additional Ingredients:

    • Skewers: Wooden or metal skewers to hold the fruit.

    • Optional Garnishes: Mint leaves, shredded coconut, or a drizzle of honey for extra flavor.

Instructions

    1. Prepare the Fruits:
        • Wash all fruits thoroughly under running water.

        • Peel and slice fruits as needed. For example, remove the skin from kiwi and mango, and cut the pineapple into bite-sized chunks.

        • Remove any seeds or pits from fruits like watermelon or cantaloupe.

    1. Assemble the Skewers:
        • Start by selecting your skewer of choice. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes to prevent splinters.

        • Begin threading the fruits onto the skewer, starting with a red fruit and working your way through the colors of the rainbow.

        • Ensure that the fruits are placed securely, but not too tightly, to prevent them from splitting.

    1. Garnish and Serve:
        • Once all skewers are assembled, lay them out on a serving platter.

        • Optionally, sprinkle with mint leaves, shredded coconut, or drizzle with honey for added flair and flavor.

    1. Chill (Optional):
        • For a refreshing treat, chill the skewers in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
